If you were absent Fri., please think about the following regarding Every 15 Minutes and jot down some thoughts in response to the prompts: ARGUMENT: Due to an increased risk of preventable accidents (such as drunk driving and distracted driving), some have proposed raising the age at which minors can receive a license from 16 to 18. Using evidence from your readings, observations, and experience, defend, challenge, or qualify the proposal to raise the driving age. ANALYSIS: --Think about how E15M made its argument. --What strategies were used? How did they work? (This doesn’t have to have a specific rhetorical device. Think about the HOW/the effect) --What did you find effective and why? Were there things that you found less effective, and if so, why? If you were absent today, you will get your essay back when you return and you can revise it at home, but please see me about when to make up the VQ.
